Making Changes to a Point

To make changes to a point, select a point and press the Info button. The Point Style popover appears with the following options:
1 — Choose a point type to define the overall look of your point. Use the buttons across the top to display your point as a shape, a tick, a vertical bar, a horizontal bar, or not at all. A point appears as as the shape you’ve specified; a tick appears perpendicular to the line; and bars extend from its vertical or horizontal coordinate to the axis. (If you choose to display your point as a shape, a carousel appears. Drag to turn the carousel and choose a shape.)
2 — Use the buttons to the left and right of the cell to change the point thickness. The button on the left decreases the thickness and the button on the right increases the thickness. Tap the cell in the center to type in a thickness. Thickness differs between elements like points and lines but generally, point sizes that match go well together. For example, a point thickness of five would look good on line whose thickness is also five.
3 — Select a chit to change the point color from the displayed palette or tap the rainbow chit on the right to see more color options.
4 — Change the point coordinates to move the point to a precise location on the graph by tapping in the cells and typing an x or y coordinate. If the point is attached to a line, the line comes along for the ride.
5 — If your point has a label, you can adjust the label distance to reposition your label. Tap the button on the left to decrease the distance between the point and the label; tap the button the right to increase the distance; tap the cell in the center to type in a distance.
